i feel stupid, and contagious

+ GUYS I FEEL GOOD TODAY. I have today and tomorrow off work, which is awesome. Annnd I have been somewhat productive this weekend! I finished my camelotremix fic (a day late, lalala), and to celebrate, I went over to the Get Arthur and Gwen Laid Campaign at freemurmurs and wrote some truly filthy A/G porn. *claps in delight* Porn that I may never actually sign my name to, but still! You should all check out that meme if you feel as strongly as I do that Arthur and Gwen should get laid in as many ways as possible.

MY OVERALL POINT IS, I have written more in the last two days than I have in many months! Since the Gwen LAS, I believe. I'm hoping this means my muse is coming back to me and if it is, I might sign up for Yuletide since I have no other holiday exchanges this year (does anyone know when signups are?). I think that would be awesome.

I have much-neglected yardwork to do today and some other things to take care of, but I might write some more pr0ns today too, just to see if yesterday was a fluke or not. :D Apart from that, I have two beta jobs to finish. I'll send them along tonight, ladies. ♥

+ I haven't checked tumblr much at all this weekend which means it'll probably be overwhelming to catch up on at this point, but apparently there is some kind of campaign to woo people back to LJ by not posting on tumblr for a month? I know some of you know what I mean and have been posting about it, and I have some thoughts on it.

When it comes to my f-list, I feel like tumblr is not my problem so much as fandom drift. I've dipped into so many fandoms, mostly abandoned my original fandom, and made friends all over the place, and I don't want to lose any of you that I either talk to now, or have formed connections with through RP and whatever in the past. I still read your posts, and try to comment more, and care about all of you. ♥ You guys put up with my social justice ramblings, my random links, my Merlin posts. You commented when I lost my dog, when my mother was in the hospital last year... whether we still share fandoms or not. I love y'all, and I hope I've been as supportive a presence as you all have been. If you ever feel like we're drifting too far apart we can work on it. ♥

+ FIRSTLY, zahrawithaz, expect an email tonight! I honestly don't know how you are even still talking to me at this point. :P Things got a bit nuts and I let some fannish things slide, but I'm on it tonight.

+ I'm exhausted today. I've been sleeping really strangely, and not very much at all, and I'm not sure why.

+ Merlin spoilers are tripping me out and making my brain hurt. And making me bounce up and down a little, ngl.

+ How come half of my f-list is talking about RP lately? YOU GUYS ARE MAKING ME MISS IT. I think enough time's passed that I'm starting forget why I stopped. Which is not good, I had good reasons! I'm not too tempted as a) I don't really have much time for it b) it tends to drain my fic muse even more than usual and c) the characters I want to play are always taken anyway. But still, I've barely even thought about RPing for like a year and now my fingers are slightly itchy.

+ Two weeks and some change left to finish camelotremix. Should be plenty of time, right? Right?

+ I'm so proud and pleased about onceandfutures! It's gone better than I ever expected. We haven't had too many issues, touch wood, and it makes me really happy to see everyone active and flailing and speculating and squeeing.

+ I... was not crazy about last night's Mad Men. I don't think that's ever happened before!

+ Massive hugs to all of you, I've been reading and I know some of you have been having a rough time recently, and yeah. *hugs*

+ Thanks to everyone who left me birthday wishes yesterday! Tweets, PMs, emails, v-gifts, facebook wall thingies, LJ posts and comments - I really rather love you guys. ♥♥♥♥ And I had a great day, btw. :D

+ Yuletide signups! I'm excited but a little freaked out by them. I have the fandoms I nominated, but there are so many more to choose from and I don't know where to start! I'm going to think on it a bit more before I sign up for reals.

+ That's all for today. I have to give a presentation tomorrow at work, but I only have half a day to work on it because we all have to go to this award ceremony/holiday party/contract renewal celebration thing. Free food and the possibility of heading home early, always good.

+ My Twilight reel_merlin fic is eating my brain. It feels good.

+ Last night's BET Awards were such a hot mess of ego and self-promotion. SUCH A MESS OMG. I really only tuned in because it was supposed to be dedicated to Michael, so I assumed people'd be performing his songs, maybe some of his choreography, whatever. Always fun. BUT NO, NOT EXACTLY. As I mentioned on Twitter last night: In case you wondered, apparently a Michael Jackson tribute = tacking "rest in peace MJ" onto the end of your tired, lame-ass misogynistic lyrics. Oh, and plugging your tour. TWICE. I DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU IN VEGAS, JAMIE FOXX, GO BACK TO HOSTING THE SHOW PLEASE.

Also, I am officially sick of Beyonce. I really wasn't, before.

Also, also, Maxwell is still hot, and Janet broke my heart. I have very little time for the rest of the people who showed up to make it all about them.

+ Leverage is an awesome show. I spent a small part of the weekend watching that and In Plain Sight.

+ True Blood ROCKED last night. But I can't take the cliffhangers! Why does HBO act all surprised when they manage to retain 95% of their viewership from one week to the next? As if we're not going to tune in next week when you keep cutting us off mid-sentence. Honestly.
