+ GUYS I FEEL GOOD TODAY. I have today and tomorrow off work, which is awesome. Annnd I have been somewhat productive this weekend! I finished my camelotremix fic (a day late, lalala), and to celebrate, I went over to the Get Arthur and Gwen Laid Campaign at freemurmurs and wrote some truly filthy A/G porn. *claps in delight* Porn that I may never actually sign my name to, but still! You should all check out that meme if you feel as strongly as I do that Arthur and Gwen should get laid in as many ways as possible.

MY OVERALL POINT IS, I have written more in the last two days than I have in many months! Since the Gwen LAS, I believe. I'm hoping this means my muse is coming back to me and if it is, I might sign up for Yuletide since I have no other holiday exchanges this year (does anyone know when signups are?). I think that would be awesome.

I have much-neglected yardwork to do today and some other things to take care of, but I might write some more pr0ns today too, just to see if yesterday was a fluke or not. :D Apart from that, I have two beta jobs to finish. I'll send them along tonight, ladies. ♥

+ I haven't checked tumblr much at all this weekend which means it'll probably be overwhelming to catch up on at this point, but apparently there is some kind of campaign to woo people back to LJ by not posting on tumblr for a month? I know some of you know what I mean and have been posting about it, and I have some thoughts on it.

Personally, I post to tumblr and LJ both fairly regularly, as there are people here who are not there, and vice versa, and I want to maintain my connections on both ends for as long as I have time to do so. I feel like e-relationships take work on both sides. I get the frustration with tumblr- the repetition, the spoilers, the fail. But to be honest, I have run into no less fail on LJ. I wish that weren't the case. Tends to happen when you fall for unpopular ships and characters, when you can't help but notice problematic issues in media. Tumblr hasn't really got a premium on ignorance. I do get tired of it sometimes, and when that happens I usually just take a break from it. But it doesn't affect my LJ activity.

So, I'm not going to stop posting/reblogging pretties on tumblr, and I'll keep posting to LJ and commenting to you guys as per usual! Sound good? I THINK THAT SOUNDS GOOD. LOVE YOU GUYS.

When it comes to my f-list, I feel like tumblr is not my problem so much as fandom drift. I've dipped into so many fandoms, mostly abandoned my original fandom, and made friends all over the place, and I don't want to lose any of you that I either talk to now, or have formed connections with through RP and whatever in the past. I still read your posts, and try to comment more, and care about all of you. ♥ You guys put up with my social justice ramblings, my random links, my Merlin posts. You commented when I lost my dog, when my mother was in the hospital last year... whether we still share fandoms or not. I love y'all, and I hope I've been as supportive a presence as you all have been. If you ever feel like we're drifting too far apart we can work on it. ♥

Great to hear that you're writing! I'd like to check out the A/G meme too but will be pushing my way through a remix pinch hit over the next couple days. I'm excited about the story I want to tell but I wish I had a month to work on it and make it big. With this kind of rush (and some rl deadlines) I'm tempted to do something really minimal, even though the subject matter makes me want to go long and indulgent.

I don't do tumblr because I'm really uptight about spoilers, but I like your stance of expanding and keeping up with friends where they are, rather than digging your heels in at one place or another.

Good luck finishing the pinch! At least it's something you can get excited about, which I imagine isn't always true for pinch hits?

And yeah -- I don't see the point of digging in my heels at one place or the other if I have the time and interest in both. It's totally cool to prefer one and not the other but people are all upset that friends have picked the one they don't like as much and to me that seems churlish. That's just how social media is sometimes, people will use whatever suits their lives better.

On the Tumblr subject, to me LJ and Tumblr are two different entities, I do share contacts from both worlds, but that's mostly because to me internet=fandom on some level and so whatever I'm doing that doesn't involve srz bznz involves fandom, further I find the interaction to be on entirely different levels which is why they've never conflicted with each other. Now, if LJ wants to woo people back into it's arms, then there are a gazillion other things to do that do not mean limiting user presence in other blogging sites, I think.

Yes! It seems completely RIDICULOUS to try and say "durr, don't play there anymore because we don't like it", and kind of the opposite of what anyone should say to a friend to convince them they care about them and are interested in what they post ... as long as they post it where they want them to post it. :////
