...that there is a cricket in my house.

I can hear it chirping and might have located it to one room. But I can't bloody well see it, so that doesn't help.

Meh. I'm going to see it when I least expect it and probably jump about a foot into the air, aren't I?

So after a weekend of stewing, I've decided to put my money where my mouth is (fingers are?) and call my local Obama campaign office to volunteer. Here in PA I figure they'll need all the help they can get. There's an office right in Gettysburg, and the guy told me they're actually opening a new office right here in my town, so close I could even walk. There's an organizational meeting on Thursday night, so we'll see how it goes. This is the first time I've ever done anything like this, though I've been making ickle donations to the campaign since about May.

*nervously excited*
