So this is surreal. You literally grow up hearing about some people, watching them, listening to them, so it's hard to imagine them not being here.
+ Farrah Fawcett is dead today of cancer at 62, as if that wasn't bad enough. May she rest in peace.
+ Now Michael Jackson has died of cardiac arrest at age 50.
It was strange. I didn't cry until I called my mom.
I hope he's at peace.
I am hoping this doesn't need to be said, but while LJ's been down I've been relying on Twitter, and just... I really feel like this is one of those times you shouldn't say anything if you haven't got anything nice to say. You know? He's dead. J Smooth said it best on his Twitter: "After a lifetime of having us eat up his pain and struggles like it was candy, can we please let him be treated with dignity just once now."

I've been home all day, but I've not had TV on and I had to hear when my mother called about Virginia Tech shooting. :( God. My prayers to everyone killed or injured, and to anyone who might know or be worried about someone down there they've not been able to contact yet.
