Random things wot make me to smile:

+ The fact that I just finished giving a presentation at work and it is now behind me. Whew. I only have to do it like twice a year, but meeep.

+ Star Trek stills. I am the shallowest of shallow fans, because I never really watched Star Trek beyond a handful of the original eps, TNG, and a bit of Voyager. But I am still so very psyched for this movie. So much pretty.

+ Dev and Frieda. D'awwww.

+ The fact that I just downloaded a pdf file of an article for work and read it on my iphone, wtf I love technology.

+ this post by setissma on women and how society teaches us that it's cute and feminine not to be able to do simple math. (um, no, it's not; we are every bit as capable of it as men.) Definitely worth a read. (hat tip to glass_icarus for pointing to it.)

Collapsed reading pages, wot?

Apparently if you click the little '+' symbol next to 'read' on the header link thingy (I've got the zesty layout still), or if you just type in ?.mode=collapsed at the end of the address for your reading page (like http://heather11483.dreamwidth.org/read?.mode=collapsed ) It collapses your friends list into just titles that you can click.

Huh. Maybe this was always the case and I just noticed?
