Thursday mutterings
Dec. 11th, 2008 11:00 amI suppose I haven't updated in a bit, so.
*** I still have to send out Christmas cards. *fails* But I do plan on getting some stamps today, so I'll have it done soon.
*** Minor geekery: The casting for Avatar: The Last Airbender has me wondering if M Night Shymalan is just fucking with us at this point. Maybe he's trying to see just how much he can fail before he just stops getting work altogether. Seriously: no Asians in the core cast? Not one? Really? FAIL. Especially considering that he chose unknowns. Just, no. This is more failtasic than the rumor that Keanu will play Spike in Cowboy Bebop. /minor geekery
(also, how many times can I say 'fail' in one post?)
*** Should I be watching Merlin? I've been hearing about it everywhere, and weirdly, this art is making me want to check it out: http://draykonis.livejournal.com/61823.html#cutid1 It's fab, go look!
*** Hell froze over and I actually answered a drabble prompt last night! Woot! More to come, I think. I've been writing more in general lately, and that feels good. (Not that it takes much to write more than I was, but still. Baby steps.)
