New Year's Hugs

I can't believe this is the last day of 2008 -- it feels like it's flown by. It's kind of cliched to say, but since I turned 21 (I'm 25 now) it feels like the years are passing much more quickly. I think in 2009 I just want to do my best not to let them pass me by completely. I'm not sure how good I was at that in 2008.

Happy New Year to all of you! I'm grateful for all my friends, new and old, and I've really enjoyed reading your entries this year. For many of you it's been a rough 2008, and I've tried to leave hugs and e-support whenever I could, for what they're worth. You're in my thoughts, and I'm hoping for the best next year.

Mostly I hope that 2009 turns out to be a better year for everyone, no matter what -- we can always do better, right?
