+ A la carte icons for LJ! Before LJ started being weird on every level I can remember wanting these very much. As it is, I might be more excited if it weren't utterly confusing -- of it I could in fact even ACCESS the userpic add-on page at the moment. We'll see.

+ Hipster Who will not be back in my life until tomorrow; sadtimes. In the meantime, via everysecondtuesday, a Doctor Who primer. Because so many people are jumping into Who for the first time, and there's a lot of canon! As someone who's just been dipping in and out of New Who for the past four or five years, it's v. helpful to me.

Hahaha Deepa's anti-rec is so awesome, I should probably not even try to attempt my own. Only reason is that around this time last year, I posted referring to the problems in that trilogy, and some of my f-list was like "what why" so I was like "'k, I'll post" and then... I never did. I AM SUCH A CANDY-ASS.

And I'm with you 100% on the a la carte userpics. I've been waiting for them for so long, but with the tardiness, the recent fuckery and how much I've come to love it here on dw, it's all fallen a little flat. Still getting one pack though, so I'll have all my icons both here and on dw(as soon as they can manage to process my payment that is). Stupid little squares will be the ruin of me.

I haven't seen any of the second season of Merlin, but I would love to know what I'm getting into with Gwen and Morgana (but especially Gwen). Yay for book posts, and what I've seen of Legend of the Seeker thus far has been infinitely shinier than the books.
