Movie Meme

Gacked from [profile] adamanteve19.

1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.

The Lion King. I can quote that movie from beginning to end, I kid you not.

2. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in the theater.

Um, the last one I saw multiple times was Star wars Episode Three, because my boyfriend wanted to. I played games on my cell phone the second time. I'm sorry, but that was some of the worst dialogue I've ever heard in a film. "I have waited a long time for this moment, my little green friend.." *eyeroll*

3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie.

Johnny Depp, Will Smith (what?), Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale

4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie.

Jessica Biel, Hillary Duff, Britney Spears, Cameron Diaz with the exception of Shrek

5. Name a movie that you can and do quote from.

I can and do quote from a lot of movies.

6. Name a movie musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.

West Side Story, Chicago

7. Name a movie that you have been known to sing along with.

West Side Story, Chicago

8. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.

Blood Diamond, The Departed, and Pan's Labyrinth are a few very recent ones. But I'd recommend a lot.

9. Name a movie that you own.

Um, I have lots of movies. I just bought Babel, though so that's the latest.

10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops.

Jennifer Hudson, most recently.

11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in? If so, what?

Never have.

12. Ever made out in a movie?

Oh, yes.

13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't yet got around to it.

Umm... I've been wanting to see a lot of movies.

14. Ever walked out of a movie?

No

15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.

I've cried in lots of movies. *is a crier* The last one that made me bawl outright in the theatre was Crash. Dreamgirls made me wibble in one part though... when Jennifer Hudson sang that song. That was pretty amazing.

16. Popcorn?

Yup.

17. How often do go to the movies (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)

Not often, I've not been since just after Christmas.

18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?

Dreamgirls

19. What's your favorite/preferred genre of movie?

Drama, definitely, and I like suspense. And gangster movies. *nods*

20. What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?

Uh, no idea...

21. What movie do you wish you had never seen?

Um, Kids, I think. That was just... not that I wish I'd never seen it, I guess, but I have no desire to see it again. That was disturbing.

22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?

Donnie Darko.

23. What is the scariest movie you've seen?

The Shining, Maybe? Or The Dark Half. Alot of the really creepy movies that are older scare me to this day. Nothing that's made these days ever does.

I will second that nothing made nowadays so much as makes me cringe. The most "scare" that comes is when something startles me.

Of course not like older movies are neccessarily better. I watched the Exorcist, expecting to be blown away - and it was more amusing than anything.

(and Leonardo Dicaprio? Yikes. I may have to pretend I don't know you)

And did you see the Departed? You can't doubt that (even after Titanic), the man can act. XD
