Here are the ones she chose for me:
For those who don't know, this is Gwen (Guinevere) from Merlin. This icon makes me so ridiculously happy. Just. I mean. Look at it. How can you not want to grin? It always lifts my mood a little.
I love this image and this tree, all sun-drenched and solitary. I guess I just like imagining myself there, reading or writing or spending time by myself or with someone else. My backyard has a big tree (not the same kind of tree; it's a willow tree) and it's a lovely place to sit. If I could afford one, I'd buy some sort of outdoor chair, a nice heavy wooden Adirondack one and keep it close by.
Oh, Bill. The quote doesn't make much sense if you don't watch True Blood, but Bill's accent is hilarious. All the accents on True Blood are; I don't think a single person on the cast apart from Sam is actually from Louisiana or even the American South, yet even with the cracky soapiness of it, it's one of the best shows HBO has done in ages. And the way Bill says "Sookie is mine" sounds just like it does in that icon.
Trio. ♥ This gorgeous art is byericahpfa and I made the icon from it. (That's Harry, Ron and Hermione, btw.) My heart's one true threesome. Say what you want about HP as a series, their dynamic was almost always spot on and beautiful, they're always at their best as characters when they're together, and I think regardless of who married whom in the end, JKR ships the three of them hardest of all. That's my take, anyway - I think DH was a love letter to the Trio.
Newsies! Spot Conlon ftw. I love this icon; I've had it for ages and I use it a lot. There's something so solemn and determined in his expression so that the text works perfectly for it. I also love the coloring; the exclusion of everything but the red suspenders.
