I didn't actually think anyone was going to turn it in, I admit. But they did. I went to the college lost and found, and looks like someone from my class- don't know who, yet- turned it in last night. Yay. Someone's getting a hug next Monday.

And so now I have my jump-drive back. (And so now I'm promptly backing up all my files.)

Okay, no more of Heather's petty and insignificant problems. For any of you who may care...my next chapter should be out very soon!

Can I just express how much you, my flist, rock? Thanks so much for the cookies, and beer, and ice cream, and icons, and advice, and comiseration, and perspective, and hugs. 

I felt so much better, even before my jump-drive showed up.  You all have so much karma coming at you it isn't even funny.

Now, hopefully I can chuck some more cynicism out the window as the election results come in.

Just sent the chapter to beta about half an hour ago, so whenever he gets done with it, then I get it, then get done with it again, it should be up!

Squee about the elections. I'm thrilled that Ehrlich won't be around for another four years. I hate the way he talks, I hate his policies, and I think he looks like an idiot, to boot. (Not that it affected my vote, but really. He has no sideburns. He rather looks like someone put a bowl over his head and shaved around it.)

And I'll bet Steele is wishing he hadn't spent so much money on those ads. Seriously. He was everywhere, all the time, on TV the last month. Looks like come January, he's out of a job. (That was evil, but I'm feeling smug right about now.)

So happy we dems seem to have aced our midterms. lol.

I'm so happy for you it turned up! And that the Dems have done so well :D Bully for you guys, there's been a lot of collective squeeing online (particularly amongst my friends from MT).
