Ooh! The Libby Bray series. I read those last year while lying on a beach in Florida :) I don't know if they're to everyone's taste, but I really enjoyed the series (and that's all I'll say in general terms to not remark on things you might not have read yet) - and listed one of the characters on my 'men I'd do' list or whatever it was called, lol. Yes, much better than Twilight in many respects. I wish it had got a fandom instead, but alas, girls and the obsession with vampires.

And Despatie - very yum. He was worth staying up half the night for :) Even if he is a little younger, lol.

I'm working my way through Rebel Angels now. Still finding it a page-turner, so far. I'd definitely put Kartik on my To-Do list. *g* When I finish the series, I know I'll be looking for some fic. I wish there was a bigger fandom on LJ -- the possibilities for different pairings and fic are definitely there and I've not even finished with it yet.

Is he really young? I didn't even know what his age was. Hopefully he's not so young that I have to feel dirty for ogling him. :P

Well, having read the series in it's entirety, I can think of one reason why no fandom blossomed. Still, it has the proper potential even with that one reason *is vague*. And yeah, ha, I went searching around a little too, and came up pretty much empty on anything worthwhile in terms of fic and the like. Maybe it will come after the fact? Not that I really believe that.

Despatie - no, he's not jailbait. Actually, not that bad when I really think about it - twenty-two maybe? I still just think of him as the young little boy who first won a medal at the Commonwealth games I suppose...and then I realize, oh wait, that was ten years ago.

It's been rainy and very windy all day but it's just a tropical depression at the moment, I believe. 'hugs' I was actually a little surprised that we are just now dealing with a big storm.
