*** Disclaimer: I was just playing yesterday, April first and all; I didn't (don't) need a beta for an H/G fic, now or ever. :P LOL. There were a lot of reasons that no one probably bought it anyway, not least because it's been longer than I care to measure since I wrote anything not posted at

road_ahead. *headdesk* But, yeah. There wasn't anything in that post that I would ever say. :P

*** Sometime in the last two months I got myself hooked on The Tudors, which premiered its second season on Sunday. It's just shiny; not 100% accurate, but the acting is brilliant and yeah, just shiny. I think it's off to a great start for the second season, too. It has Peter O'Toole, who's just perfect as Paul III. I'm also addicted to Skins, which is a bit of a guilty pleasure, and is wrapping up Series 2 in a couple weeks. Not wild about the new season of Top Chef. Yes, I still watch too much TV.

*** It's getting so warm here! *grins* I love spring. However, my lawn's growing again and I need a new mower. -_-' *taps foot and waits for tax return*

*** I've been following the election coverage closely, which is almost impossible not to do considering it's everywhere. I live in PA and can't wait to vote on the 22nd, if only because the primary will be closer to ending. XD

*** I want to buy the Buffy series on DVD. It's discounted like a hundred bucks on Amazon. -waffles-

I bought the Buffy DVDs from Amazon today!! They're selling them for $250 on Amazon.ca and when you convert the US price, it's a dollar more. :P So yeah. I bought it. Because I'll never find it cheaper here.

Hee! I've never been a huge fan of his, but he's grown on me a lot recently, and is actually a damned good actor. :D

I keep meaning to get The Tudors first season on DVD...especially since I was the only one I knew growing up who could list all of Henry's 6 wives (in order) and their fates...

Will start hunting for it at Half Price Bookstores.

For precisely that reason, I'm not sure I could deal with the blatant historical inaccuracies.

Just bought season one of the Tudors at Target for cheap, since I only caught about half the season. And yeah....never mind the inaccuracies of which there are so many, it's mostly good for 'the pretty'. I didn't even know the second season premiered :(

I mean, granted, I'm pretty open-minded about ships and such and will read Hermione with just about anyone, but I'm very picky about Harry ships and I can't write Ginny at all; she doesn't talk to me. Not that I dislike her, just ... okay, maybe I dislike her, heh. LOL! Just from canon, really. I haven't read much of her in fanon for that reason. But, yeah, I'm unlikely to ever write Ginny with anyone in fic, much less Harry, even though I'm pretty open when it comes to ships.
