Dear Yuletide Author
Thank you so much for writing me a story this year! It's my first time doing Yuletide, and I'm super-excited -- hopefully this is helpful. ♥
In general I gravitate toward female characters with complex stories, emotions, and agendas, who make decisions and drive the plot. I love to read about their relationships with each other, whether that's families, friendships, or femslash. I also enjoy het and M/F/M threesomes. I love male characters too, but I prefer to read stories where women are central or get equal narrative attention to the guys.
When it comes to genres, I'm pretty flexible, and I'm fine with AUs. Anything but darkfic or horror. I don't mind whether it's gen, friendship fic, or romance - I'd be all over any kind of complicated relationship dynamic. I prefer happy or hopeful endings. If you go with romance and want to write porn that's cool, but don't feel like you have to include it if it doesn't fit. I'm SUPER-easy to please. If you DO write porn, I'd rather that not be the whole point of the fic.

I love Ellen and Patty in equal measure and would love love love a fic that explores their dynamic in any way the story takes you. I'm up for anything, but I think something that follows from the end of season 3 would really interesting.
Runaways
I should start by saying I think the comic was at its best in the BKV era, that I also liked Joss Whedon's arc. Anything after that is neither here nor there for me. *g* Nico's my favorite character; I like how brave and loving and deeply flawed she is. I would love a fic that explores Nico and her relationship with Karolina, whether friendship or romantic. Bonus if Xavin is involved and complicates things.
The Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner
Attolia makes my life. I love her ruthlessness, her strength, how calculating and controlled she is, and how passionate she is below the surface. I love the emotional armor she wears, her guile, and her sharp political mind. Anything about her, her life, her relationships, would make me so happy: it could be gen backstory fic, Attolia/Eugenides romance, or Attolia/Eddis intrigue.
Batman Beyond
I'm looking for Max Gibson fic here - anything that explores her life, her family, and her relationship with Terry, whether it goes romantic or stays friendship. (I think of her as the Barbara to his Bruce, and yeah, I do ship it pretty hard.) Inclusion of other characters is welcome and encouraged, as long as she's central.
