my laptop crashed!

Like...completely. I can't even get the OS to boot. I go into startup repair and it can't find a system to repair. YAY.

I know! I think I will apply for a CHARITABLE GRANT to replace it.

(lol jk, I'm gonna take it to Geeksquad after I go and get my driver's license renewed. I'm kind of afraid it needs a new hard drive or something.)

Fandom is something though, right?

Dont mention laptops to me! Mine had a slight flickery type problem with the screen. Still under warranty, I sent it back. The hard drive was returned today with a note saying that the machine had been scrapped and I could have £200 towards a new one!!

No option to have my old one (that still worked fine!) back. And you sure as hell can't buy a netbook for £200! I am not a happy bunny :(

I hope you have more luck with yours!

That...omg that sounds like a nightmare, I'd be LIVID. It seems like they shouldn't be able to do that to you if you're under warranty!

Mine wouldn't even START. Geeksquad will fix, trufax.

Fandom is... yes. Something. On the plus side, I actually got over my allergy to creating accounts new places. Voting for real causes is, I suppose, better than bothering to wank about whatever crack FA mods are smoking today. I can never keep track of the wank.

Yes! Someone suggested yesterday to vote for the ten projects directly behind that one in the ranks, and I did that. Felt nice. :D
