Vampire Diaries Post
So basically, if I know this fandom at all, they're never going to forgive Bonnie, are they?
WHATEVER, WHATEVER
+ I'm really sad that Caroline got turned. Supernatural shows never know what to do with their humans. THAT SAID, I still love vampire!Caroline? She's maybe what Lexie was like back in the day, and I miss Lexie RIDICULOUSLY, so love it.
+ LOL DAMON'S LIFE. I love Damon, I do, but I don't feel sorry for him, not this week or last week, and he can get whumped a little more next week too for all I care, he'll be aight. First Caroline calls him out for what he did to her (THANK YOU FOR NOT FORGETTING, SHOW) and tosses him down a corridor, and it was awesome, then Bonnie tries to set him on fire, which is a little more complicated but still awesome.
+ Goddamn, that poor carnie brother, who made it clear to Damon that he has a name but whose name was never told to us! I'm kind of upset that he got introduced, used up, and murdered for like three interwoven storylines and we still don't know his name. (Do we? I don't remember hearing it.) Like, just. Damn.
+ STEFAN/ELENA OTP OMG. I shipped Stefan/Bonnie last season, but actually, Stefan needs to be with Elena and Elena needs to be with Stefan and that never needs to change, is all I have to say about that.
+ I don't know when I fell for Stefan, like when did that even happen. He is wonderful you guys. And his scene where he was taking care of Caroline? OH MY GOD <33333. I think part of him was determined not only to prove Damon wrong but to make up for Vicki. I really hope Caroline's going to be all right.
+ So Tyler's a werewolf, and we're going to draw this out for how many weeks? (Actually, probably not that long, this show burns plot like gasoline.) But I'm over it, let him go ahead and find out or whatever. Also, I liked seeing the uncle's moves/how the werewolf thing manifests itself for this show.
Everyone is more interesting when they're being made aware of things, is all. See: Jeremy.
+ That moment where Bonnie realises what happened to Caroline was so shippy! Caroline's so afraid Bonnie will hate her, and Bonnie's so crushed that the unthinkable has happened, then completely loses it and tries to set Damon on fire, I mean ...shippy. And like I said, I don't really feel sorry for Damon even though I love him, but Bonnie was clearly just freaking out, and she's entitled to that. She told Damon to give Caroline his blood, this on top of whatever guilt she was feeling about the device and its ripple effects which put Caroline in the hospital to begin with. Aside from the fact that Damon had just up and snapped Jeremy's neck plus the boy she kinda liked is lying dead on a truck bed, I think she's dealing with some guilt issues, some trauma, some grief and some general rage at all things vampire at the moment, and I hope she gets to deal with some of it in later episodes, but it's totally awesome that she's having complex emotions. I LOVE HER SO MUCH Y'ALL. And w/e, Damon will be fiiiiiine. why do i still ship it
I can't wait to watch Bonnie and Caroline deal with Caroline's change in life status.
+ Random Damon/Jeremy bonding! ...okay!
In conclusion, Stefan and Elena can make out on ferris wheels every episode, AWWWW.

That scene with Bonnie making Damon burn was long coming, and I am surprised that Damon got away reltively unscathed, no permanent damage. I really liked Elena's intervention and how emotionally wrecked Bonnie looked in the moment when Elena woke her out of her trance.
In the past dealings Bonnie appeared a bit haughty to me when around Damon, instead of angry, and I was glad that Katherine showed her Damon is small fish, sort of, but this scene really worked well and it'd be strange if it didn't happen.
