Doctor Who 5x02 - The Beast Below
That was actually wonderful.
I don't have deep thoughts right now! But I have Sophie Okonedo being awesome! AND QUEEN. <3333 And Amy saving the day in the end! And Matt Smith being such a wonderful Doctor; I loved him when he lost his temper - it was heartbreaking and human.
The writing was really good, I thought, particularly with the climax where Amy watches the children and realizes, and all the threads from earlier in the episode are woven together. My heart grew three sizes during that entire sequence and the end was beautiful. Oh, Amy. Oh, DOCTOR, it's weird to like you so much again.
It made him kind. Oh.
The cinematography this season gets a special mention.
That's all I have in the way of words for now.
One more thing -- I want to know how it is Amy picks locks. I suspect they threw that in just to turn me on.
