sarahtales' Ladies, Please (Carry On Being Awesome). An interesting look at how many of us see women in fiction, how many of us might want to try seeing women in fiction. How would we perceive Harry Potter if he were Harriet instead? Why do we often hold women to different standards?

Speaking of awesome, take a look at Gwen in series 2 of Merlin. Just freaking look at her. My excitement for the new season has officially reached fever pitch, though I need more Morgana promos too! Preferably one of her and Gwen together, being lovely. *nod*
(and oh, oh, series 2 news. Gwen-ness. Arthurness. Cracked-out plots. The cast playing hide-and-seek in the courtyard. I. I can't even. I just. )
