when you came in the air went out
True Blood premieres tonight. *\o/* Yay, even though I'll have to wait (hopefully not too long) to watch it because I dropped HBO and Showtime from my satellite service.
Stupid budget.
Anyway, here's what I am hoping for (bear in mind that I haven't read the books so I have no idea how likely most of this is):
+ Anna Paquin to have worked on her Southern accent a little bit. Everyone else's is fine (except for Renee's hack-job of a Cajun accent, but he's dead now) but when Sookie gets agitated or excited or angry, Paquin's accent gets almost distractingly bad. Which is a shame because everything else about Sookie is lovely. And she's a fantastic actress otherwise.
+ Lafayette to not actually be dead. Okay I know this is a longshot, but goddamn I'm going to miss him.
+ Tara to catch a fucking break. Oh, sweetie. I want her worthless mother to die in a fire. I want Sam to respect her, or for her to meet a guy who isn't either hopelessly in love with someone else or brainwashed by a creepy hot pig demon lady (I don't even know what the hell's up with her). Or even better, I want her to be perfectly happy and secure in herself without a man. And basically, poor, broken Tara. (Is there Tara fic anywhere? That girl is ripe for ficcage.)
Also, I want her the hell away from creepy hot pig lady. I don't want Tara to crash and burn again once this chick reveals herself. Speaking of which, can't wait to find out what her connection is to Sam.
+ More Eggs and his muscles and his guitar.
+ More Eric. *drool* I love him and his mancrush on Bill. Answer his text messages, Bill! He worries when you don't.
+ More Pam. She could not BE more awesome, I love her cashmere blend sweaters and sexy trench dresses and the fact that she is so much fiercer than anybody and knows it.
+ More Terry Bellefleur. Could he be any more adorable? Also, Terry/Arlene, please.
+ No Sookie/Sam/Bill love triangle.
+ For Jason to stop being too dumb to live. Or for Lafayette to come back for like, five minutes, just to kick his ass.
+ Also, more Merlin s2 set pictures with Gwen and Morgana in them. this one in particular has me squeeing like mad. Hay thar, pretties.
+ Okay, back to poking at fics.
