Firstly, hi new friends that I've met from party posts and otherwise! *waves* I'm same username on Twitter if you want to add me there as well.

Also, I saw a cool vid today. I figure I might as well get you used to my extreme geekiness early and often. In other words, here's MN Senator Al Franken drawing a detailed map of all 50 states from memory. *_*

Hey Minnesota, how about you take Arlen Specter, and we'll take Al Franken, Y/Y? Sound like a deal? (Sigh, I miss having Maryland's senators.)

+ hermionebigbang's deadline was last night, and I'm in charge of uploading art and making participant banners, yay! Should be funtimes over the next couple days. Posting starts 9/19.

+ I continue to be jealous of everyone who was at the Merlin screening yesterday (though I am conflicted because through my envy I am also SO happy ya'll had a great time!), and the recap posts have me bouncing around. Loving the squee happening from every section of fandom that I frequent. Femslash, het, slash - because that's how Merlin rolls. But I have to tear myself away from it all at some point.

+ Happy Labor Day to all who celebrate. In a little while I must be off to go eat some food outside. There may be corn involved. Also, my hair looks nice.
