Go and leave prompts! It doesn't matter whether you're a member of the comm or not, I don't think. Any girl/girl pairing, any rating, any prompt, and you can do it anonymously if you wish. I plan to do some drabbling tonight. Whoever answers the most prompts gets a pretty banner.

+ The collision shop is finished with my car, so I've got to go pick that up/turn in my rental car. It'll be nice being in my own car again and not being paranoid about scratching it and having to spend loads more money.

+ Has anyone ever had this blue screen thing with Windows Vista, wherein the screen goes blue with an error message, saying that something's wrong and Windows is shutting down to prevent damage? Any idea how to fix it?

My new desktop PC keeps crashing that way. I can't tell for sure, but it might have started happening around the same time I installed The Sims 3, which I have since uninstalled. I'm attempting to disable different drivers one by one to pinpoint which one might be causing it, but it's going to take ages that way, and I don't have the money to take it to Best Buy or something, and I'm afraid I'm going to have to re-install the OS or something dire like that. Which means losing all my files and re-installing all my stuff. For fuck's sake, it's times like this I wish I could afford a Mac.

+ Is anyone even AROUND this weekend? :P LJ is so slow. You guys are having too much fun at Azkatraz, aren't you? I will try not to be too jealous. But even Trek fandom is slow. Not that I've helped -- at all. I've been in RL hell for most of this week, surfacing only once to see HBP.

comments

+ Happy Birthday gnimaerd! Hope you've had a fantastic day. It's fun being f-listies with you and squeeing over Merlin and our respective crushes therein. XD And you got me writing RPF, which is no mean feat. *g* Cheers for being such a cool person, seriously. ♥

+ I've got a rental car while mine is in the shop. It's nice, but I've never had a rental car before, and I'm freaking paranoid about scratching it or something.

+ Whilst out driving and being paranoid today, I listened to my new copy of the HBP score. It's gorgeous in parts; I think I almost like it better than the PoA score which is my favorite of the lot. Anyway I am EXTREMELY excited for the film, which I never thought I'd say since HBP was my least favorite of the books. Oh, HP, my first true fannish love. ♥ I shall never really leave you.

+ Finished reading Kushiel's Dart (first in the Kushiel's Legacy books) by Jacqueline Carey. Highly recommended, by the way. It's definitely not without its problems but it's also pretty freaking EPIC. I love the main character and her more than worthy antagonist; I love the richly detailed universe and all the political intrigue throughout. Moving on to the next installment immediately, kthnx. I haven't read something so immersive in a while.

+ Okay, I'm off. Bingley needs a bath, and I have five-times fic to write, and other stuffs to do. ♥

comments
