I've told myself that time and time again about exchanges, how nice it would be writing something that's not for somebody and not on a deadline. It never sticks. It's rearing it's ugly head again this time though and reminding of one of the problems; all the pieces I'm writing for exchanges require smut save one, and I'm just not in the mood to include it *snort*. Good for you on springsmut. I'm not done that one. Funny thing is, I've got an idea for hp_rarities, but of course it's last in the queue. Who knows if it will work out in the end though anyway, it usually doesn't. /ends rambling about own struggles.

Gen fic-fest looks fun, and more up my alley then the porn fest was...but so much to come before it first... *wants time off* Hope you can get some mini fics churned out :)

I think I'm really going to have to check out Merlin sometime soon. The constant squee all around livejournal seems overwhelming. You should put up a link to your rec list when you do it - I'm lazy and get annoyed sorting through the crap slush pile sometimes, ha. Then again, I think that entire fandom is pretty much slash/femmeslash, is it not?

I've only seen up to 1x04 of BH so far, but I'm really enjoying it overall. Mostly because of George and his storylines if I'm honest.
